'GENERATION GEO' TO SHOWCASE ENERGY SAVING ADVANTAGES

OF GEOEXCHANGE HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEMS

Nearly 20 years ago the U.S. EPA called geoexchange “the most energy efficient, environmentally clean and cost effective space conditioning system available.”  Nearly 1 million installations later, geoexchange is gaining in popularity, not only for its significant energy efficiencies and resulting energy cost savings, but also for its high degree of comfort.

The Colorado Geo Energy Heat Pump Association invites you to explore the applications and business opportunities of geoexchange at Generation Geo 2010 Conference and Expo, Thursday September 23, at the Denver Marriott West Hotel in Golden, Colorado.

The compact one day program will cover how geoexchange works, key design considerations, performance metrics, costs, financing, energy savings, incentives, interviews with geo users, the growing retrofit market, school and commercial applications, the role of utilities and market trends. Additional learning opportunities include a trade expo, a pre-conference workshop on Residential Closed Loop Design and plenty of networking with Colorado’s top geoexchange experts.

Registration is only $95 and is available online.

Generation Geo 2010 is being assisted by a host of Partner Organizations including the Geothermal Exchange Organization, the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association, the Boulder Green Building Guild, the Energy Efficiency Business Coalition, EcoBroker, the US Green Building Council - Colorado Chapter, the Rocky Mountain Association of Energy Engineers, the Prairie Times and the Colorado Energy News.

The event is partially funded by the Governor's Energy Office through a New Energy Economic Development grant and sponsors Energy Environmental Corporation, Blue Valley Energy, Major Geothermal, Engineered Mechanical Systems and WaterFurnace.  CoGEHPA focuses on public education and awareness, professional development and training, quality assurance standards and performance data collection.   For further information, please visit the website at www.goGeoNow.org
