Efficient air conditioning can only do so much to improve the comfort of building occupants and reduce energy consumption.  The building shell (walls, roof, etc) is an important part to cooling buildings; in fact the building enclosure should be one of the first areas to address in reducing cooling consumption.

This webinar on Maximizing Building Envelopes for Cooler Environments will focus on the building enclosures, what you should know, is beneficial and cost prohibitive.  The learning objectives include:

• Understanding the science behind the building and HVAC relationship

• What should be performed first, HVAC or building enclosure

• Building improvements to consider at building renovation time

The webinar will host three speakers who are experts in the field of building energy efficiency and include; Paul Bertram, Kingspan International, JR Babineau, Johns Manville Corporation and Jim Meyers, Director of Buildings Efficiency Programs with the Southwest Energy Effiency Project.
