IECC Code Development Open Discussion
The Colorado Chapter of ICC will host an open meeting discussing the code change proposals for the 2015 IECC. The IECC proposals are due to ICC on January 3, 2013.
Time/Location: The meeting will occur over two days at the Thornton City Hall, located at 9500 Civic Center Dr, Thornton, CO 80229 in the CD EOC Training Room. Commercial changes will be discussed on Wednesday, November 7th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Residential changes will be discussed Thursday, November 8th from 8:30am to 2:30pm. (Late start on Wednesday, early finish on Thursday to allow for traveling)
Any proposals by anyone may be discussed. We will also review the DOE proposals as posted on their website.
Due to the likelihood of a high volume of IECC changes, brevity will be enforced.
Besides providing information, a key goal of this meeting will be the search for common ground. Further phone discussions organized by topic may follow this meeting.
