Combustion Appliance Zone (CAZ) Training
*Wednesday February 20th, 2013 WEBINAR
From 9:00am to 12:00pm

Combustion safety testing is an important area of knowledge   for you, since your improvements to a customer’s home could potentially cause backdrafting or potentially under-ventilated homes.  Come learn the safety risks, testing procedures and more from Peter Stelling from Populus and Doug Donovan from Interplay Energy.

Who should attend:

Business owners and technicians with some prior field experience, who work in insulation and air sealing, or with combustion appliances such as furnaces and water heaters.

Why attend:

• How tightening the building envelope can impact your customer's
  safety
• How to identify potential backdrafting appliances
• What tools are needed to test and how long it takes
• How to test, using a software program by Interplay Energy
• How to position the value of CAZ testing to your customers

Light breakfast and full lunch will be provided

What to bring:

Laptop with Windows required, and your power cord (not Ipad, not SmartPhone)
