The Denver Museum of Nature & Science (DMNS) is hosting a free seminar/webinar for nonprofits on the benefits and the lessons-learned in the course of becoming “green.” The workshop, entitled The Benefits of Going Green, is being presented by iCAST, as part of its program with the Denver Office of Strategic Partnerships and the Gates Family Foundation. DMNS will share what it has learned in its various sustainability efforts. The seminar will demonstrate how nonprofits can easily go green. iCAST will provide examples of what other nonprofits have done to save money while making their facilities more comfortable, healthier, and attractive to the citizens they serve. Attendees will be entered to win one of three free energy audits to be awarded as door-prizes. Attendees may also receive a tour of the DMNS facilities to see first had the energy saving features installed.
