In follow-up to last year's efforts to gather and review comments from the HPwES community, the Department is pleased to post our HPwES Program Report. This Report presents our action plan for evolving HPwES and is based on over 650 comments received on the proposed changes collectively known as HPwES v2.0.
As a result of analyzing stakeholder input, we were able to identify issues in the Program that would be relatively simple or uncontroversial to improve in the near term, as well as areas where further research and pilots are needed to make thoughtful decisions. In 2013, we will work on these near-term improvements by revising the Program Sponsor Guide. We will also initiate collaborative efforts to advance research and testing of areas such as recognition and labeling, data reporting, delivery models, and workforce guidance.
