Intelligent Efficiency Webinar: Reducing Losses and Increasing Gains
When
29 Oct 2013
11:59 AM
Location
Webinar
Information and communication technologies (ICT) are making possible analysis and levels of performance that could not be achieved a few years ago within industry and companies. Intelligent efficiency achieves energy savings at the system level and above rather than just at the device level. Such component connection can prevent the decline of energy savings that typically occurs in the months and years following the implementation of energy efficiency measures. This new ability to prevent the degradation of energy savings will cause a fundamental change in how energy efficiency is viewed as a resource in utility sector efficiency programs. With the ability of automated systems to optimize performance and then provide savings performance data in real time, efficiency programs will be transformed with new low-cost efficiency and supporting measurement and verification.
In partnership with Greentech Media, ACEEE will host a webinar discussing the findings of a new report, Intelligent Efficiency: Opportunities, Barriers, and Solutions, to be released this Thursday, October 24.
In this webinar, we will explore the technology and market changes that are making this shift toward intelligent efficiency possible.
